You're right, of course. I stayed away from the PED issue because people generaly have not accused homas of that particular vice, but at the rate we're learning stuff, it's certainly conceivable that something could surface in the next four years. Still, I wanted to just deal with what he and others hve done, not how they've done it, which is something the Hall voterswill have to grapple with later. Wheter he deserves it or ot is for them to decide. I just wanted to say that he belongs.

I'm on board. BigHurt is on lists with some pretty good company. We're too attached to statistics anyway and it strays away from the original HOF criteria the original Board put forth. But because it's 2010 and not 1936, Big Hurt got the cheddar. People who think otherwise aren't thinking.
As far as the all-time top 12 HR hitters, we know there is a list with-in the list. Thomas I hope is one of the good guys.

That leaves Jim Thome, of the top 12, that still needs to be looked into. Worthy?
